# Chorus Research

> Self-service survey platform for collecting responses from real, targeted respondents without hiring a traditional research vendor. AI drafts the survey and audience; you field it from the web app, over MCP (Model Context Protocol), or through a REST API, then read charts and AI-written findings.

Chorus is intended for founders, marketers, product teams and research teams who need real respondent data. Developers and AI agents can use the same workflow through the REST API and MCP server.

## Core workflow

1. Create a survey (AI drafts the survey and audience).
2. Define the target audience.
3. See the price before launching.
4. Launch: you pay when you launch, and fielding starts.
5. Collect responses from real respondents.
6. Review charts and AI-written findings as responses arrive.

## Pricing

- Pay per survey. No subscriptions.
- Enterprise (contact sales): dedicated account support, SSO integration, custom billing and invoicing.

## How payment works with MCP

- The hosted remote MCP server (OAuth) never charges. Its estimate returns a secure browser checkout link, and you pay on the Chorus website.
- The local stdio package (@chorus-research/mcp, API-key auth) uses an in-tool estimate and confirm step. Confirming launches the survey and charges the saved payment method, the same way the public API does.
